Sunset River Cruise
by Kevin
“This was a really fun experience! My wife and I did the sunset cruise! The boat was low to the water so we could get close to the river bank to see the animals. The boat was also only 10 passengers. It didn’t feel crowded or packed. We were able to move around easily enough when we went from side to side to get a better view of the animals. Elias and Crawford were our crew and they were great. Drinks and snacks were all-inclusive which was a nice additive. The wildlife we were able to see were hippos, crocodiles, a zebra and lots of birds. We saw the mist of Victoria Falls and the beautiful scenery”.
A Must Do Excursion
by Mark
“If staying at the Falls, be sure to book this boat trip. The wonderful boats carrying no more than 8 to 10 passengers max are simply gentleman’s drinking clubs on water.
The boat trips is worth it for the free bar alone. But when you factor in the wildlife seen from the comfort of an armchair its worth twice the price”.
Wonderful Cruise on the Zambezi River
by StoneMaz
“If you are staying in Victoria Falls, I highly recommend the sunset Zambezi cruise from Zambezi Wilderness Safaris. Sitting on a lovely period boat with a drink of your choice (mine was a gin and tonic) and a selection of high-end snacks, you sail along the Zambezi visiting the local wildlife and watching the beautiful sunset. I saw crocodile, hippos, a monitor lizard, birds and small monkeys. A perfect early evening”.
Pleasant Sunrise Cruise
by DandJandFam
“Sun rise” was about an hour and a half after actual sunrise, but as we were the only passengers on the 12 person boat, it didn’t matter that much. The crew, the pilot/captain and a waitress took us on a circular trip up the Zambezi, above the Falls. What stood out for us was the really excellent wild life spotting by the pilot/captain: he saw and identified birds, hippos, crocodiles, a giant lizard, and several species of antelope often long before we noticed them. A really enjoyable cruise that finished far too soon”.
Small Group Cruise
by Niall
“Small boats with comfortable chairs and lots of fresh snacks and drinks to enjoy as you motor down the Zambezi with our eagle-eyed captain pointing out the wildlife who visit or live on the river”.
